Face Fit testingFACE FIT TESTING (FFT) OF RESPIRATORY PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (RPE)
Under Regulation 11 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006, Face Fit Testing is mandatory. Under COSHH 2002, FFT is recommended.
It is also recommended that FFT be carried out yearly as part of an ongoing RPE management plan. All types of respirators, where efficiency depends upon a tight face seal, should be assesed for all users.
AOH Limited provides a quantitative FFT service using industry standard techniques provided by trained and experienced personnel.
