

Premier League Football Club - Aston Villa have breached the Work at Height Regulations, and have been fined £1350, with costs of £1610 due to pleading guilty.
A worker who was helping the club during demolition of an old building, has fallen through a roof light which was classed as fragile.
The HSE went to investigate following the news that he had broken bones in his heels, and taken a long of time off work.
An internal ladder had not been used because it was blocked. However, the workers who were employed by the club; failed to bring it to anybodys attention. They were also fined. With costs of £1000 plus £1610 for confliction of the Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations.
